Since 2018, I've had the pleasure of collaborating with The Coug on a variety of exciting projects. From designing menus to creating unique gift cards and eye-catching stickers, my goal has always been to enhance The Coug's vibrant and welcoming brand. Our journey together continues with new projects in the pipeline, ensuring The Coug stays fresh and engaging for its patrons.
Results
Menu Design:
I crafted a new, functional menu featuring the iconic laurel leaf painting from The Coug's back wall. This design seamlessly blends the bar's interior aesthetics with its branding, ensuring an easy-to-navigate and visually appealing menu for patrons.
Coug Pass Design:
This quick, on-brand project was designed for AirBnB guests staying in the apartment above The Coug during home game weekends. It was a fun and straightforward way to enhance the guest experience.
Gift Card Designs:
Coug Exterior Drawing: At the owner's request, I created a detailed drawing of The Coug's exterior, capturing its recognizable presence on a main road in Pullman.
Tabletop Photograph: Featuring a photograph of a tabletop within The Coug, this design highlights the unique culture of marking the interior with a sharpie, resonating with customers who cherish this tradition.
Sticker Designs:
Menu Item Stickers: Created designs based on The Coug's most popular menu items: the corn dog, the Cougarita cocktail, and the Trash Can cocktail.
Typography Stickers: Developed three typography pieces reflecting The Coug's culture and branding:
"Meet me at The Coug" in three colorways
"Be a Part of the Tradition" featuring The Coug's motto
"Future Mug Club Member" in the shape of a mug
The designs I've created for The Coug have consistently resonated with their audience, from returning WSU alums to current college students. Each project has helped strengthen The Coug's brand identity and customer connection. Our ongoing partnership ensures that The Coug remains a beloved spot in Pullman, with fresh and engaging projects continually enhancing the customer experience.
